Refurbishing the Chair
After
receiving the Chair
from DAV, we took the Chair to David Wooldridge to refurbish the frame.
After
David completed his work, we took the chair to Smitty’s Indy Marine for
reupholstering
and Embroidery Plus to have the POW/MIA logo embroidered on the
material. The pictures below shows what the Chair looked like in
the beginning and the finish product.
The POW*MIA Chair of Honor was delivered to the DAV Headquarters in Greenwood Indiana Kevin Coley and his staff receives the Chair of Honor.
Dedication CeremonyThe dedication of the DAV POW*MIA Chair of Honor was on December 22, 2021. The POW*MIA Chair of Honor was unveiled by the Mayor of Greenwood Indiana, Honorable Mark Myers, DAV Commander
Norman Nelson, and past DAV Commander Donald Peek.
