Indiana Ride for Freedom Nation Wide Information
The
purpose of this event is to honor our Indiana Service Members that were
Killed
in Action (KIA) from all wars, and to remember those that are still
unaccounted-for
from Indiana. A memorial program will be at the WWII, Korean, and
Vietnam War Memorials located at the American Legion Mall downtown
Indianapolis.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event whether you ride a motorcycle
or
drive an automobile. The mode of Transportation is not important.
What's important, is to honor our fallen and to remember those that
remain unaccounted-for from all Wars; so they are NOT FOGOTTEN.
The program will include the following:
Departure Ceremony at the Fort Harrison Veterans Center.
Briefing and Wreath laying at each of the War Memorial.
Roll Call Ceremony at the Vietnam War Memorial.
Placing Dog Tags on Wreath for the 50 Indiana Vietnam War POWs and MIAs.
Echo Taps played in honor of our Indiana KIA’s from each WAR.
Return to the Fort Harrison Veterans Center for Food and Entrainment.
